“For the LORD, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb says this, “I am the LORD, Maker of all things, Who alone stretches out the heavens, Who spreads out the earth by Myself, Frustrating the signs and confounding the omens of boasters (false prophets), Making fools out of fortune-tellers, Counteracting the wise And making their knowledge ridiculous, Confirming the word of His servant And carrying out the plan of His messengers. It is I who says of Jerusalem, ‘She shall [again] be inhabited!’ And of the cities of Judah, ‘They shall [again] be built.’ And I will raise up and restore her ruins. It is I who says to the deep, ‘Be dried up!’ And I will make your rivers dry. It is I who says of Cyrus, ‘He is My shepherd (ruler), And he will carry out all that I desire—’ Saying of Jerusalem, ‘She shall [again] be built,’ And of the temple, ‘Your foundation shall [again] be laid.’
Isaiah 44:24-28 AMP
Who wouldn’t want to serve a God like that? A God who keeps ALL His promises. I’ve been to Israel and seen firsthand God’s faithful promises kept. Which other gods speaks and it is done? Our God who frustrates the plans of the enemy on our behalf. Who removes our offenses and loves us unconditionally? Why wouldn’t you want to serve Him wholeheartedly? What’s the hesitation? There’s nothing left for Him to do, He’s covered all the bases. All we have to do is believe and receive. Hallelujah!
Listen to this in the same chapter, He was primarily speaking to Israel, but since we were engrafted in, we can receive the general promises. There are promises that are specific to Israel. But this one is worth believing and receiving, especially if you struggle with accepting you’re forgiven:
“Remember these things, Jacob, for you, Israel, are my servant. I have made you, you are my servant; Israel, I will not forget you. I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.”
Isaiah 44:21-22 NIV
If Israel won’t claim it I certainly will!! This is rich stuff, stuff dreams are made of, only it’s not a dream, it’s a reality. His promises endure. I’m free to live for Him because I have embraced and wear these words. “I have swept away your offenses.” In other scriptures He says;
“as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.”
Psalms 103:12 NIV
FAITHFUL!
“Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.”
Hebrews 10:17-18 NIV
FAITHFUL!
He is faithful to do everything He has promised. You don’t need to walk around condemned and rejected! If you have confessed your sin as a redeemed child of God, it’s erased, forgiven and forgotten. Don’t allow the old tactics of the enemy to keep you from enjoying your Heavenly Father’s presence. Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us. Jesus! Not you, not a priest, not self mutilation, not because you fast for 40 days and nights, or pray in a certain place or posture! Jesus lives to intercede for us.
FAITHFUL!
Guilt and condemnation keep us doing the things I mentioned, believing that doing penance will garner God’s attention. He’s faithful even when we are faithless. Why? He cannot deny Himself that He is always GOOD!
“if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown Himself.”
2 Timothy 2:13 NIV
FAITHFUL!
“God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?”
Numbers 23:19 NIV
FAITHFUL!
Are we reading the same Bible? So why is it that some Christians struggle with their forgiveness in Christ? Because they have fallen prey to a performance gospel. Jesus died, Jesus arose, Jesus ascended, Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven, Jesus is our mediator between us and God, I like to say He makes us look good in Abba’s eyes. Do you see our works mentioned anywhere? Why not? He doesn’t need our performance, He needs our faith in His finished work.
FAITHFUL!
He watches over HIS Word to perform it. So unless we begin believing and speaking His Word, He has nothing to perform or bring to pass in our lives.
“It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself. All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.”
2 Corinthians 4:13-15 NIV
FAITHFUL!
Take a spiritual inventory of your life. Has He been faithful? If you’re His, if you’re born of the water and blood, filled with the Spirit of life. He’s faithful. If you’re reading these words He’s faithful. If you’re not in a hospital this morning He’s faithful. If you’re employed or retired He’s faithful. If you have a roof over your head, food on your table, clothes on your backs, He’s faithful. If you can pay your bills He’s faithful, if you can dress yourself, He’s faithful. If your children are living for Him, He’s faithful, if you’re driving a car, catching the bus, He’s faithful, if you have none of the above He’s faithful. Why? Because He has made all Grace abound to you, He has made provisions and promises. If you’re not enjoying the benefits it’s not His fault. It’s time for a spiritual inventory. What have you been doing to attract His blessings and favor?
Have you been speaking His Word or yours? He’s always looking for someone to demonstrate His faithfulness on their behalf. Who are you trusting in and turning to? If anyone else is your source you’ll never experience His faithfulness. If you are your own source you’ll never experience His faithfulness. He alone is FAITHFUL! Seek Him and only Him. Never exchange His faithfulness for temporary satisfaction. Wait patiently for Him. No matter what you’re going through, wait for Him. He will surely come. You never want to hear this rebuke. King Asa had turned from God to seek the help of man, so after making the treaty God spoke. You may read the full account on your own time.
“Just after that, Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah and said, “Because you went for help to the king of Aram and didn’t ask GOD for help, you’ve lost a victory over the army of the king of Aram. Didn’t the Ethiopians and Libyans come against you with superior forces, completely outclassing you with their chariots and cavalry? But you asked GOD for help and He gave you the victory. GOD is always on the alert, constantly on the lookout for people who are totally committed to him. You were foolish to go for human help when you could have had God’s help. Now you’re in trouble—one round of war after another.”
2 Chronicles 16:7-9 MSG
Never leave off trusting His faithfulness no matter how attractive the help of man may appear to be. He’s been faithful then, He’s faithful now and He’s faithful forever.

Faithful Father,
Where would we be without You? What would our lives be like apart from You? In Jesus Christ You have been revealed to us as Faithful. Help us to seek no other but You. You alone have stood the test of time, You alone have stood at the beginning middle and even at the end of our lives. Your Son, our Savior has paid the ultimate price to bring us back to You. Help us to walk confidently in Your finished work in Jesus Name. Amen
I saw heaven opened. And there was a white horse. He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. Revelation 19:11 MEV
