People worshipped and hung on every word of an atheist named Stephen Hawking. Supposedly one of the brightest minds. But as far as God was concerned he died a fool because he didn’t believe in the existence of God. (Psalm 14:1) Science was his god. You read the scripture about what God said He will do with the intellectual geniuses? I’m glad I’m just the messenger. Don’t like what I’m writing? Take it up with Him.
Here’s a direct quote from the brightest mind. “In the past, before we understood science, it was logical to believe God created the universe. Now, however, science offers a more convincing explanation. What I meant when I said we would know God’s mind, was that we would know everything that God would understand IF He existed. But there are no Gods.” End quote.
That’s what the brilliant mind looks like to the elites....But to God, and there is ONE! Not so much. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:5...you know the drill. Open your Bible! That arrogant pharisaic spirit is a stench in the nostrils of God. Jesus likened them to whitewashed tombs. Matthew 23:27-28. What’s in a tomb? You got it! I’d rather believe there’s a God and serve Him and at the end find out He doesn’t exist, than not believe and find out at the end that He does. The latter offers no way out. The former, I’ve gained a better life. Can I get an Amen! It’s not enough to believe James 2:19 you don’t get a pass for believing, you have to act upon that belief. James 2:20-25
Something I taught my daughter and daily strive to live myself is this. Let God exalt you. If you live by man’s praise you’ll die by their criticism. At a very young age. She’d come home from Pre-K and exclaim! “Mommy! Everybody loves me!” I’m chuckling at the memory. I would lovingly say, “no baby, it’s the Jesus in you that they love, they just don’t know it so you need to tell them.”
That exchange changed her life forever. She became a witness for Jesus from Pre-K to this present day. Because as she got older she learned the truth. It’s not about us; it’s about Christ in us, the hope of glory, she’s remained confident in who she is in Him. As a Mental Health Clinician, she’s making a difference because of this truth.
WITHOUT JESUS we are NOTHING!! But in HIM (Christ) we can do all things. Philippians 4:13
The apostle Paul was a gifted brilliant man. But he said this. And I would highly recommend you read his account in Philippians 3. In verses 7-8 “But whatever was gain to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them dung, that I may gain Christ.” My brothers and sisters; put no confidence in the flesh but in Christ Jesus alone.
Heavenly Father, in Jesus Christ I have been made a new creation. All the old mindsets and ways of my past I willingly submit to you. Help me know You better by the power of Your Holy Spirit, as He reveals you in Your Word. In Jesus Name

The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:7-8
