    GOD’S DIVINE PROTECTION

The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, “Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome. The next morning some Jews formed a conspiracy and bound themselves with an oath not to eat or drink until they had killed Paul. More than forty men were involved in this plot. They went to the chief priests and the elders and said. “We have taken a solemn oath not to eat anything until we have killed Paul. Now then, you and the Sanhedrin petition the commander to bring him before you on the pretext of wanting more accurate information about his…

    FROM RELIGION TO RELATIONSHIP

I know that these messages go out to a mixed audience, each individual is at a different stage in their spiritual journey. I would not presume to know how you live your spiritual lives. Only the One who created you knows that. But, I do have some questions for you. WHO IS JESUS CHRIST TO YOU? Whenever you speak His Name, what does it represent to you personally? Is He Lord of all that your life represents, or is He just another one of your other relationships? Do you get to Him when you can because that’s the religious thing to do? Do you know Him or about Him? Where…

    TRANSFORM! or BE CONFORMED!

GOOD MORNING!! A wise man once said. “Whatever you don’t Transform will Conform you.”Selah (pause and consider) Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is; His good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2 NIV How do we find out what the will of the Lord is for our lives? The first step towards that knowledge…

    PRAISE THE LORD.

I recently read an article of a man who lost his ability to speak due to a stroke. As some young people began communicating with him through Praise, he suddenly burst into singing “How Great Thou Art” I think this story has confirmed my message for today. Praise the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary: praise Him in His mighty heavens. Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness. Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise Him with Timbrel and dancing, praise Him with the strings and pipe, praise Him with the clash of cymbals. LET…

    SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS – FINAL THOUGHTS

People worshipped and hung on every word of an atheist named Stephen Hawking. Supposedly one of the brightest minds. But as far as God was concerned he died a fool because he didn’t believe in the existence of God. (Psalm 14:1) Science was his god. You read the scripture about what God said He will do with the intellectual geniuses? I’m glad I’m just the messenger. Don’t like what I’m writing? Take it up with Him. Here’s a direct quote from the brightest mind. “In the past, before we understood science, it was logical to believe God created the universe. Now, however, science offers a more convincing explanation. What I…

    SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS – PART THREE

“In my former book, (Luke is speaking here and is referring to his gospel) Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach until the day He was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles He had chosen.” Acts 1:1-2. Jesus, as did the apostles have all moved over to the book of Acts. And you should too! You’ll find Jesus continuing His work from Acts to Revelation. Don’t get caught up in the lies that only the gospels reveals Jesus. You’re missing out! All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting…

    SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS – PART TWO

Woe to you Pharisees, because you love the most important seats in the synagogues and respectful greetings in the marketplaces. Luke 11:43 The Pharisees were an offense to Jesus, they loved power and praise. Jesus called them out without calling their names, they knew who they were. Here’s what Jesus said about that spirit, because it is a spirit. Side trip…Did you know that God has some things that He detests? Check out the list in Proverbs 6:16-19 and the first one on the list is…drop the mike! You guessed it? See you’re so smart! I’m assuming you ran for your Bibles- silly me. I’m still not telling! SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS – PART ONE

Jesus said “for judgement I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.” Some Pharisees who were with Him heard Him say this and asked, “What? Are we blind too?” Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would have not been guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.” John 9:35-41 The passage above addresses spiritual blindness. When dealing with a pharisaic spirit, as Jesus did his entire earthly ministry, can be quite daunting. When you approach the Word of God from your own self-righteousness or point of view, you’re never open to hearing…
