Morning Messages

I recently read an article of a man who lost his ability to speak due to a stroke. As some young people began communicating with him through Praise, he suddenly burst into singing “How Great Thou Art”

I think this story has confirmed my message for today.

Praise the Lord.

Praise God in His sanctuary: praise Him in His mighty heavens. Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness. Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise Him with Timbrel and dancing, praise Him with the strings and pipe, praise Him with the clash of cymbals.

Psalm 150

Do you have breath this morning? Or are you on a artificial breathing machine? Are you up and about doing your “normal” routine? In other words; ARE YOU ALIVE? Then you have breath. So with one loud shout of gratefulness to our God, Praise Him!! I’m giving you a moment to shout!

We have so much to be thankful for. But ingratitude gets in the way of praise. Have you ever thought about the fact that, you could’ve been dead many more times than you realize? The accident or illness you survived? The situation that miraculously changed just when you were supposed to…..? That appointment you missed and found out that had you kept it you would’ve been….? That flight you missed that…..? And the list goes on.  Or how about when you were down to your last dollar and…or the car got stuck and a stranger just…..or the cupboard was empty you walked outside to a bag of…..want me to continue or are you filling in the blank to your own testimonies? I hope by now you’re shouting praise to God! Unless you think it was all you. To which I say, you are poor indeed.

God through His Son and His Spirit, has given us reasons to praise Him each and everyday. Here’s what He’s said just in case someone is saying; “ things aren’t going that well for me” do you have breath? Praise your way out of that situation. I have done just that. I wouldn’t ask you to do anything I haven’t or wouldn’t do.

The Bible says “Praise “ not whining, STILLS or Paralyzes, the avenger. Psalm 8:2.

The Bible also says; Rejoice always, Pray continually, give thanks in ALL circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.  Notice it doesn’t say give thanks FOR all things, but IN all things.

Whatever life is throwing at you today, Praise your way out! I know this, you can’t cry and dance, but you can dance and cry. Sounds crazy? If you’re fretting and anxious about life you can’t dance. But if you’re praising Jesus through your circumstances you may be crying but it will be tears of gratitude and thanksgiving. I know, been there done that. Praising God takes the focus off of your circumstances and places it squarely on Him. Lol I’m laughing because I know!! So you may have the tears, but on the inside you have peace. If you know what I’m talking about go ahead and use His breath to give Him a shout of praise!!! Or as they say; Take a praise break.

Hallelujah!!!! Jesus You are worthy to be Praised! You are faithful! Trustworthy, always on time God! You are all together lovely! I would be nothing without You!! Hallelujah!! Whew. That felt good!!

You see what I mean? If you’re praising Him, the supposedly big things become small. And the small thing, “Praise,” becomes magnified! Hallelujah! I’m shouting again!! Magnify the Lord! Never magnify your circumstances. They’re not bigger or greater than your God!

Here’s something God says about Himself.

“ I have no need of a bull from your stall or goats from your pens, for every animal of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know every bird in the mountains, and the insects in the fields are mine. If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.  Psalm 50:9-12.

Hahaha that’s my Daddy!

He owns it all!! I’m His child, I’m in the family, according to the Scriptures. Listen to this:

My choice is You God, first and only. And now I find I’m Your choice! You set me up with a house and yard. And then you made me Your heir. The wise counsel God gives when I’m awake is confirmed by my sleeping heart. (Peace)

Day and night I’ll stick with God; I’ve got a good thing going and I’m not letting go. I’m happy from the inside out, and from the outside in, I’m firmly formed. You cancelled my ticket to hell, that’s not my destination! Now You’ve got my feet in the life path, all radiant from the shining of Your Face. Ever since you took my hand, I’m on the right way. Psalm 16:5-11 MSG

I have no more words. Just writing those verses have totally overwhelmed me. My heart is bursting with gratitude and Praise for His loving kindness towards me. Tears of joy flows from my heart, yes, I can cry and dance because He has made me glad.😢💃🏽😂

I love you Jesus! For more reasons than I can count. You have given me everything that I do not deserve, and taken everything I deserved on the cross of Your suffering. Today, you are seated at my Father’s right hand, yes I can say my Father, because you bought that right for me. Thank you for being my mediator, praying and interceding always for me. I can’t thank you enough or praise you enough, but I’m grateful. I praise you with Your breath in my lungs. Amen.🙏
