    BEAUTIFUL FEET

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!” Isaiah‬ ‭52:7‬ ‭NLT Look down, take a look at your feet. What do you see? Do you like your feet? Do you consider them beautiful? Whether they’re nicely pedicured by the skilled hands of a professional, or appearing worn and tired, if you’re bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world, your Maker calls them beautiful feet. Whatever age you may be reading these words, your feet have a lot of miles on them. But…

    DEAD PEOPLE CAN’T DIE…..🤔

Let that thought sink in for a moment. If you’re already dead, you can’t die. I heard those words come out of my mouth while praying. I’m speaking to those who have died in Christ. The fear of dying should have no power over the children of God, because we are already dead. Let me prove it to you in scripture by someone who experienced death both physically and spiritually. See 2 Corinthians 11. “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved…

    WHERE ARE THE UNDER-SHEPHERDS?

Good question? Or an indictment? This may not apply to all, but today with the superstar status of Preachers, the question the Holy Spirit posed while I was in prayer is a valid one.  Do you know your pastor? Or better question, does he or she know you? There was a time when pastors stood at the entrance of the church to greet and get to know their parishioners, but today they run, as it were, to get away from the people. They don’t care to mingle, they have done their job of delivering what they consider an anointed word, so they like any other employee leaves the building after…

    THE BIG TEN

You shall have no other Gods before me 2. You shall not make idols 3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain 4. Remember the Sabbath Day, keep it holy 5. Honor your father and mother 6. You shall not murder 7. You shall not commit adultery 8. You shall not steal 9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor 10. You shall not covet EXODUS 20 and  also repeated in  Deuteronomy 5  Do you notice a pattern in the big ten? It’s sin committed either against God or each other. But the warning is still the same. Don’t do it. When…

    JESUS OUR HIGH PRIEST.

“If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood—and indeed the law given to the people established that priesthood—why was there still need for another Priest to come, one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron? For when the priesthood is changed, the law must be changed also. He of whom these things are said belonged to a different tribe, and no one from that tribe has ever served at the altar. For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah, and in regard to that tribe Moses said nothing about priests. And what we have said is even more clear if another Priest…

    COVID-19

“Don’t let this throw you. You trust God, don’t you? Trust Me. There is plenty of room for you in My Father’s home. If that weren’t so, would I have told you that I’m on My way to get a room ready for you? And if I’m on My way to get your room ready, I’ll come back and get you so you can live where I live. And you already know the road I’m taking.” John‬ ‭14:1-4‬ ‭MSG‬‬ Well, well, well. What have we here? A promise from Jesus as He was preparing His disciples for His departure and ultimate return. This passage of scripture is commonly read at…

    TRADITIONS

Definition: the transmission of customs or beliefs from one generation to generation, or the fact of being passed on in this way. So question for you: what are your traditions? What are some of the things handed down to you that even though you’ve never taken the time to question why you hold to them, you do them robotically anyway? Be careful now, your introspection may shock you. We are creatures of habit. We don’t like changes of any sort, especially if it interferes with our sacredly held beliefs, right or wrong. But to those of us willing to take a chance, change can be scary but rewarding. I heard…

TURNED ON BUT NOT PLUGGED IN

Have you ever tried to use an appliance and it didn’t work? You tried everything and just when your frustration had hit its peak you realize that the appliance was not plugged in, it was near the outlet  turned on, but near isn’t good enough. It needed to be plugged in. The opposite is true. It’s plugged in but the switch was not turned on.  We all feel like that sometimes in our walk with Jesus. We’re doing our best but nothing seems to be working. We know the problem isn’t Jesus, the power source, so upon closer inspection we discover that we have been neglecting quiet times with Him.…

    SPIT

“As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. “Rabbi,” his disciples asked him, “why was this man born blind? Was it because of his own sins or his parents’ sins?” “It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him. We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work. But while I am here in the world, I am the light of the world.” Then he spit on the ground, made mud…

    BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

“Let your true beauty come from your inner personality, not a focus on the external. For lasting beauty comes from a gentle and peaceful spirit, which is precious in God’s sight and is much more important than the outward adornment of elaborate hair, jewelry, and fine clothes.” 1 Peter‬ ‭3:3-4‬ ‭TPT‬‬ “Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied!  Matthew‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭ “Don’t you realize that together you have become God’s inner sanctuary and that…
